i have always enjoyed your posts both here and on ymb....i know that you swing trade this stock at times, and although i am a buy and hold trader in arwr, i hold no grudge against your strategy....my question is, would you swing trade arwr now, with results pending?

Sorry tmak, I just now seen your post.

To answer your question. No, I did not and am not planing on trading at this time. My reasoning for this is tax season and small pharmas are a volatile mix.

Also, management is starting to be more vocal recently, this makes trading a lot more difficult. In essence its going to be a hard trade this year due to Monarch data coming at random times. Its quite apparent to me, if I am to actively trade this stock I will have to develop a new strategy. 

The secret to swing trading is there is no secret. You just have to be flexible, disciplined, and filter out emotions.

I envision a ICPT type run for ARWR, collaboration + partnership + monarch + high short interest+++++. As we know ARWR has a lot tools in the RNAi chemistry tool box, and wonderful news can come at any minute of any giving day. Swing trading would be a very dangerous game this early in the process. Traders have high jacked the markets on the day to day movements, but the science will win out long term. I wouldn't dare short are be in cash while ARWR gap up 500% overnight. jmho..glta.longs

I view ARWR as a wonderful business to own forever if the science and platform continue as planned. HFT's could care less about the underlined business of ARWR. Investing and daytrading are opposite ends of sprctrum. jmho.. glta. longs.
